Mosby's Files
A research-driven archive on American Modernism, presented as a skeuomorphic folder system built by Tubik Studio.
About Mosby's Files
Mosby's Files is an editorial research project arguing that American Modernism deserves a place beside Bauhaus, tracing a distinct American path of functionalism through architects such as Frank Lloyd Wright, Louis Kahn, I. M. Pei, Paul Rudolph and Mary Colter. The about page explains the editorial stance: modernism as a network of parallel movements rather than a single European story.
The interface mirrors the subject.
