About World Web Atlas

A cross-platform directory of websites, templates, components, plugins and the people who make them.

What is in the atlas

World Web Atlas brings five kinds of work into one place: websites, templates, components, plugins and creators. Each can be discovered across Framer, Webflow, WordPress, Shopify, Wix and Squarespace.

Entries are ingested from public original sources and official marketplaces. They are not described as submissions unless a creator actually submitted one; most of the catalogue was found and reviewed independently.

The gap this fills

Every platform has its own marketplace, and each one only shows you its own work. If you want to compare a Framer template against a WordPress theme against a Webflow build, nobody does that for you.

World Web Atlas indexes all of them in one taxonomy, so a search for a dark portfolio returns the best answer regardless of what it was built with.

What makes an entry worth listing

We measure what we can and we say where every other number came from. A listing that looks good and loads badly is not a good listing, and you cannot tell the difference from a marketplace screenshot.

Who runs it

World Web Atlas is an independent editorial project. Its catalogue, measurements and rankings are kept separate from affiliate relationships, and the methodology is published so those decisions can be inspected.
