About Sankofa

Sankofa gives journals, cultural magazines, and narrative projects an editorial setting rooted in Afrofuturism. Geometric ornament appears across the theme, while broad two- or four-column post grids combine cover imagery and masks in layered compositions.

The default style pairs Formera headings with Chakra Petch body text and a vivid palette. The Dogon variation uses muted archival tones, Jaro headings, and PT Root UI body copy, offering a different treatment of the same publishing structure.

Query Loop layouts arrange posts in spacious two- or four-column grids, using cover blocks and masks for layered imagery.

Formera headings pair with Chakra Petch body text in the live demo. Vivid colors, African geometric ornament, cover imagery, and masks support the Afrofuturist visual direction. A yellow hero places the main heading at the left and a short introduction at the right. Below it, a four-column row uses contrasting burgundy, green, purple and brown panels.

The Dogon style variation switches to muted colors, Jaro headings, and PT Root UI body text. Full-site editing supports changes to the block layouts.

WordPress Query Loops and Post Templates organize narrative projects, journals, and cultural publications.
