A Framer media carousel whose full-height columns reveal images or videos with directional wipes, sliding motion and backdrop blur.
About Slide Carousel
Slide Carousel makes the transition between media columns part of the composition. Wipes follow the pointer’s direction, and the active column can remain in color while inactive columns receive a separate treatment.
The animation uses the browser’s Web Animations API. Video playback is limited to the active item and can pause outside the viewport, while smaller screens switch the presentation to paged navigation.
Component details
Creates a full-screen hover-reveal showcase using image or video columns.
Directional wipes, parallax slide-in and active-column blur accompany navigation. Only the active video decodes.
Supports up to 50 columns, with optional infinite cycling in the small-screen carousel.
Typography, spacing, padding, fills, blend modes, timing, easing and overlays are configurable.
On small screens, the columns collapse into a paged carousel with stylable navigation.
The Framer component uses native Web Animations without external animation libraries.
